Our story

In Lockdown I started delivering freshly baked sourdough and pastries to my neighbours.

My thinking was simple. Everyone loves great bread and pastries, but getting to the bakery every weekend? Not so easy. The solution was clear—bring the bakery to you.

I teamed up with my friend Nic, we jumped on our bikes, and started delivering oven-fresh happiness door to door.

What began as a small act of local love grew into a weekend tradition that's now a weekly staple for thousands of Londoners.

Thank you for being part of our story and for letting us be part of your weekends.

Butter & Crust is an excellent motivator to get out of bed every Sunday morning. We have delicious fresh bread and pastries waiting at our door, and they are delicious without fail. The customer service is excellent and I highly recommend this service to everyone I meet in South West London.
